Position:              Stress Analysis Engineer

 

Location:        Headquarters - Easton, PA

Scope:

 

Are you an engineer who has experience with Caesar II,Autopipe or Caepipe software?  Are youinterested in taking your career in a different direction?  Victaulic has an exciting opportunity for youin our Piping System Design Group.  Notonly will you use your stress analysis experience to help our customers modelVictaulic products in their piping systems, you will also have the opportunityto design new products, visit customers and jobsites and provide seminars andtraining.  If sitting at your computerrunning calculations every day is getting old, this may be the position foryou!

 

Responsibilities:

 

Review customer system requirements and offer Victaulic product solutions for piping system design needs.

Provide thermal movement,anchor load and other calculations.

Design pipe support products such as anchors.

Identify and assist in the development of new products.

Visitfield installations to assist customers in using Victaulic products andoptimizing performance.

Provide general support tosales organization including creating, organizing andconducting technical seminars

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or CivilEngineering with 2-10 years pipe system design experience.

P.E. License (Professional Engineer) REQUIRED**

Project Management in building construction.

Experience withDesign software suchas: Autocad, SmartPlant 3D or similar.

Working knowledgeof Stress Analysis software such as; Caesar II, AutoPipe, Caepipe or Ansys Software.

Requires excellent communication skills and professional appearance.

Organizationalskills andability to set priorities.

Ability to travel 15%
